Ashbrooke

ashbrook_banAshbrooke Lodge 9619

Set up for the benefit of Freemasons whose work Commitments means that they are available during the daytime. The format of the meeting is different to normal lodges :- The morning starts from about 10.30 a.m. when both the masons (member and visitors) together with their ladies have coffee and an informal chat.
At 11.00a.m. the ladies have their own speakers whilst the Masonic meeting takes place, which is followed by an informal lunch.

Usually once or maybe twice a year we have speaker which is of interest to both ladies and brethren.
Ashbrooke Lodge is small in number with only 22 members. It is very well attended both by members and many visitors from the Provinces of Yorkshire (N & E Ridings), Durham & Northumberland together with their ladies.
