Charity Presentation Evening the 16th year…
At another well attended evening, the Midllesbrough Freemasons Charity Presentation Evening was again a great success.
During a sometimes emotionally charged evening, hosted by Jim Skelton of the Freemasonry in the Community Committee, and attended by the 2nd Provincial Grand Principle, Nigel Weightman, the Masonic Lodges of Middlesbrough and the Zetland Ladies Club presented cheques to the Representitives of their chosen charities ranging from the the Oncology Dept of James Cook Hospital to My Sisters Place.

Dr.Nick Wadd from the Oncology Department of the James cook University Hospital gave an insight into the advances in cancer treatment and what it could mean to the many sufferers of the disease.
The total for this year was a fantastic £26,570
Jim who has hosted the event since 2008 the reveled that Middlesbrough Freemasons had donated £203,809 to local charities, money that had been raised amongst Fremasons, their family and friends at various social evenings, sponsored walks and other events.
