At their 18th annual Charity Evening the Freemasons of Middlesbrough proved once again their commitment to helping local charities.
Jim Skelton who has been hosting the event for longer than he can remember said
“I am amazed how generous the Masons of Middlesbrough can be”Our distinguished guest for the evening was R.W.Bro. David Chambers the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, who said “it was great to see so many good causes recieving help from the Freemasons of Middlesbrough, £17, 514 is a great amount.”
Jim said that since he started hosting the event in 2008 Middlesbrough Freemasons had donated £249,532 to local charities, money that had been raised amongst Fremasons, their family and friends at various social evenings, sponsored walks and other events.
